Privacy Policy

AirmanCalc is a client-side application, available as both a web app and mobile app. This means:

• All PT score calculations happen directly on your device (web browser or mobile app)
• Your test data is processed locally and is not sent to AirmanCalc servers
• We don't have a database or application server that stores your calculator results
• Web test entries remain in page memory and normally disappear when the page is reloaded or closed
• The web version stores only optional scorecard name/rank and theme preferences in your browser's local storage; it does not store your entered measurements or scores there
• The web app may use session storage to remember that you dismissed the mobile install prompt for the current browser session
• The mobile app operates with the same privacy-first principles as the web version

TheBellWorkshop and AirmanCalc do not collect:

• Personal identification information (name, rank, unit, etc.)
• PT test scores or performance data
• Body measurements (height, waist, WHtR)
• Email addresses or contact information
• Your calculator measurements or scores on AirmanCalc servers
• Browser local storage for advertising or behavioral tracking
• Information that identifies you as an AirmanCalc user or connects your identity to a score

The AirmanCalc mobile application adheres to the same strict privacy standards as the web version:

• No App-Server Collection: The app does not transmit or store your calculator data on AirmanCalc or TheBellWorkshop servers
• Local Processing Only: All calculations are performed locally on your device
• No Analytics: We do not use any analytics services, crash reporting tools, or tracking SDKs
• No Ads: The app is completely ad-free and does not integrate with any advertising networks
• Device Permissions: The app requests only permissions needed for local PT reminders, HAMR media playback, and saving a scorecard image when you choose Save to Photos or Save to Gallery. It does not request access to contacts, location, camera, or microphone
• Local Storage: Saved scores and preferences remain local to the app. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled. iOS device backup behavior is controlled by Apple and your device settings

When you use the "Export PDF" feature (available in both web and mobile versions), the PDF is generated entirely on your device using client-side processing. The file is not uploaded to AirmanCalc servers. If you choose to share it, the operating system sends it to the application or service you select, which handles it under that service's privacy policy. Scorecard images saved with Save to Photos or Save to Gallery remain in the device photo library you selected.

Web Version:

The web version of AirmanCalc is hosted through GitHub Pages and may be served through Cloudflare. These infrastructure providers may process technical request and aggregate visit information under their own privacy practices. When Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, it may receive aggregate page-visit and browser/device information. This telemetry is not connected to calculator measurements or scores. We do not use:

• Google Analytics or similar tracking services
• Social media tracking pixels
• Advertising networks
• Third-party advertising cookies

Mobile App:

The mobile application does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. It operates completely independently on your device.

We do not receive or store calculator data on AirmanCalc servers, so there is no calculator data for us to access, modify, or delete on your behalf. You maintain control over information entered into AirmanCalc:

• Web Version: Test entries exist only in page memory. Optional scorecard name/rank and theme preferences are stored locally in your browser and can be removed with the calculator's Clear control or your browser storage settings
• Mobile App: Any locally saved data can be deleted from the app's Settings, by clearing the app's data, or by uninstalling the app. Scorecard images saved to Photos or Gallery are managed in the device photo library. iOS device backups are controlled by Apple and your device settings

AirmanCalc is provided for reference purposes only and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the United States Air Force (USAF). Always consult official sources and validate all scores with your Unit Fitness Program Manager (UFPM).
